InCoDa 2021 successful after long 'corona pause'

Evenementenhal Gorinchem – 22, 23 & 24 september 2024

The last edition of the Interieur Collectie Dagen (InCoDa) on Sunday 12, Monday 13 and Tuesday 14 September in Evenementenhal Gorinchem was successful. That is what organiser Easyfairs says on the first day after InCoDa. “Everyone was ready to meet each other face-to-face again and experience collections live. We also received many positive reactions to our programme, which consisted of more inspiration, master classes and demonstrations than ever before. We would very much like to take this opportunity to thank all exhibitors and visitors for three fantastic exhibition days. On to 2022!”, says Mascha de Bruin on behalf of InCoDa.

A total of 4,360 interior professionals visited InCoDa 2021. De Bruin: “That’s fewer visitors than we are used to at InCoDa, but that can be explained. Everyone has to get used to the fact that trade events like InCoDa are happening again. Nevertheless, we are very pleased with this number of visitors. What we see, and we heard it back from our exhibitors, is that the visitors visited the trade event very purposefully. As a result, the quality of the visitors was very high and our exhibitors had a good experience. It was also nice to see that exhibitors looked each other up, they had missed each other. In total, there were over 100 participants at the fair with a diversity of segments.”

Besides the exhibition floor with over 100 participants and twice as many brands, there was an extensive programme. Almost all the master classes were well-attended and given by, among others, B&C Raamdecoratie, INretail, trend analyst Niek De Prest, RetailTheater/BNS Crisp, Rigo Verffabriek and Slimmer Wonen. For the first time, a trend presentation was given in cooperation with stylist Yvonne Teijgeman. There were also two championships: the NK Parquet Laying Championship and the NK Home and Project Furnishing Championship. The big winners of the Parquet Championship were Sander Verbruggen, Jasper Hoogervorst and Nick Janssen and for Home and Project Furnishing Championship the winners were Anco Rijstenbil and Kay Winters. Furthermore, for the (furniture) upholstery sector there was an Innovation Spot and an upholstery stage with the projects of ANYMALS/Studio Stelt, Daisy Buijs Studio, DEGO Stofferingen and Kleur en Stof.

The next edition of InCoDa will be on Sunday 11, Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 September 2022 in Evenementenhal Gorinchem, The Netherlands.
