Frequently asked questions about Interieur Collectie Dagen (InCoDa)
Events such as trade fairs are allowed by the Dutch government, because these events are held in so-called transfer locations. The Dutch government confirmed this once again in the press conference of 13 August. This also means that InCoDa will take place in Evenementenhal Gorinchem (The Netherlands) doorgaat. Below we answer the most common questions.
Yes, we have decided that from now on we will carry out the corona check during the exhibition days of our events. You will receive access to the fair with one of the following proofs:
Full corona vaccination. From Saturday 10 July a vaccination is valid in the Netherlands from 14 days after you have been fully vaccinated. The Janssen vaccine is valid from 28 days.
Evidence that you recovered from corona less than 6 months ago.
A negative test result of less than 24 hours before your visit to the fair. Both a PCR and antigen test are valid. Only negative test proofs are valid for this where you receive a certificate from the organization. Self-tests are not covered by this and do not give access to the fair.
Every visitor must have one of the above proofs, which you can show before entering the fair. The check on the corona proof takes place before the fair entrance. To promote the flow rate, we would like to ask you to keep the corona proof in combination with a valid proof of identity at hand.
Showing other proof (yellow vaccination booklet or test certificate) is also possible. This also applies to the proof of vaccination that you received during the vaccination in combination with an ID card.
We have decided to use this immediately, in order to receive our visitors, exhibitors and our own employees in an even safer environment. This does not mean that we can already get rid of the maximum capacity and the 1.5 meter distance rule. These will remain in effect until September 19.
The check takes place before entering the exhibition floor. Depending on the location, this can be outside the building (e.g. in a tent) or in a place inside, where there is enough space to check large groups in a short time. Obviously, clear signage will indicate where you can go for the check.
Easyfairs employees will ask for a corona ticket and a valid ID (driver’s license, ID card or passport). The corona admission ticket can consist of the following parts:
– Proof of full vaccination or recent negative test or proof of recovery
– Yellow vaccination booklet: check for complete vaccination
– Valid test certificate: tested negative for corona (with a validity of up to 24 hours). The test must be performed by an organization that issues a certificate. Self-tests are not covered by this and do not give access to the fair.
The check applies to everyone who visits the fair:
– Exhibitors (stand crew)
– Employees at Easyfairs
No, because the occupancy rate is low during those moments and keeping 1,5 meters distance is very well possible. In addition, the open doors provide extra air circulation. Of course, the 1,5 meters distance is monitored.
Yes, the check takes place every day. Even if the exhibition floor is left in the meantime, another check is carried out.
The safety of visitors, exhibitors and our own staff is our top priority. We are very happy that we can open our doors again, but at the same time we want to keep the risk of infections as low as possible. In addition, a negative test is only valid for 24 hours. That is why it has been decided to set up a permanent corona check that must be completed at all times before entering the exhibition floor. We hope for your understanding of this security measure.
No, it is not possible to visit the fair without a valid corona ticket.
Yes, that is mandatory. We want to make sure that everyone who enters the exhibition floor can do so safely. For that reason, we check whether the data on the Corona admission ticket match the ID data.
Wearing a face mask is no longer mandatory, but we do make face masks available free of charge to those who feel comfortable wearing them. Sanitizer stations will also be placed at various points on the exhibition floor so that you can disinfect your hands as desired. Furthermore, there will be the possibility to disinfect hands at every stand. In addition, we have further optimized our air treatment systems in the past period. This helps to limit the transmission of respiratory infections, such as COVID-19. In addition, there is now an even healthier and more pleasant indoor climate in our exhibition halls.
No, no effect whatsoever. Our fairs take place in a transfer location and are therefore allowed.
The role of a fair is very important in many ways. There are several sectors in the Netherlands that have experienced the negative consequences of the corona pandemic. The Dutch government therefore sees fairs as the drivers of the recovery of the economy. This is where supply and demand come together, tomorrow’s innovations are presented and Dutch business meets. There are industries that realize up to 40 percent of their annual turnover on exchanges. A trade fair is also indispensable for other service providers, such as stand builders. Furthermore, the local and regional economy also benefits when a trade fair or event takes place, such as hotels, taxi services and restaurants.
Recently, we have conducted a large-scale survey among visitors to trade fairs taking place this autumn. In total, more than 6,000 respondents took part. This showed that 90% of the visitors plan to visit trade fairs again this autumn.
Easyfairs Netherlands follows the measures taken by the government.
Yes, the catering at our fairs and events is open. We also follow government guidelines.
No, in case of cancellation by the customer, the cancellation conditions as included in the relevant agreement apply. In the unlikely event that Easyfairs itself (have to) decide to cancel an exhibition or event, Easyfairs will examine on a case-by-case basis whether the relevant event can be moved to a new date.
