Wallpaper of the Year 2026
This spring has seen another wave of stunning collections. Back in January, we shared what we spotted at Paris Design Week 2026, but there’s more! Luxurious sophistication with Art Deco. Heritage design has become the core of the range, but always with a modern twist. Another striking element is the use of warm colours: natural palettes, gold accents and earth tones that are warm, rich and tactile, or, conversely, a bold statement wall with graphic prints.
Furthermore, nature remains a clear source of inspiration, both in patterns and atmosphere and in materials such as sisal and bio-based wallpaper. You can see that same dynamic reflected in many of this spring’s new wallpaper collections. From the Art Deco elegance of Luxor to the couture-like luxury of Made in Italy designs, and from large-scale botanical murals and Scandinavian icons to Brazilian rhythms, textures and sisal textures. Team InCoDa asked various wallpaper exhibitors what they consider to be this year’s standout wallpaper collection.
Table of Contents
Arte - Essentials Luxor

Even a century on, the Roaring Twenties continue to capture the imagination, with their opulent Art Deco style. Inspired by optimism and events such as the discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb, the era was filled with exquisitely decorated furniture and objects.
The Luxor collection draws its inspiration from this vibrant era: geometric designs that pay homage to Art Deco and Egyptian influences, featuring innovative printing techniques and natural colours.
Design tip
Naturally, this collection complements an Art Deco-style interior beautifully. But it also fits very well into contemporary, more minimalist interiors. All patterns are available in a wide range of colours, though they always remain within a natural colour palette. So, a warm, sunny orange, but not a fluorescent version.

Big Wall Flowers - Bespoke Botanical Wall Compositions

Large-scale botanical designs that enhance the space and create a sense of cohesion.
Big Wall Flowers creates bespoke designs as a single continuous image. Designs are tailored to the scale, colour and space.
Used as seamless, bio-based wallpaper for interiors where design and architecture come together. From hospitality to residential and workplace environments.
Design tip
The designs are shown to their best advantage when they become an integral part of the space.
For example, let the design flow into a recess, around a corner or up towards the ceiling. This creates a sense of scale and a sense of cohesion.
Combine with calm, natural materials and tone-on-tone colours. This ensures the botanical motif remains present without dominating the space.
Boråstapeter by Dutch Wall Decor - Scandinavian Designers

A collection in which we bring some of the most beautiful, sometimes forgotten patterns from Scandinavia’s modern era back to life as wallpaper.
Each design embodies timeless beauty and captures the essence of Scandinavian style: modern, elegant and effortlessly natural. Featuring work by Lisa Larson, Turi Gramstad Oliver and Stig Lindberg, amongst others.
Coordonné by Van Sand - Damaskus

Coordonné’s Damascus collection combines rich damask patterns with a modern interpretation of Eastern textile traditions. The designs are decorative, layered and suited to elegant interiors where pattern and texture take centre stage. Ideal for feature walls or entire rooms with a luxurious yet timeless look.
Design tip
- Fabrics: velvet for depth, linen for a light, airy feel, jacquard for a rich, layered effect.
- Furniture: wooden furniture in warm or neutral tones, simple shapes and soft upholstery.
- Patterns: combine with subtle stripes or plain fabrics to let the damask shine.
- Colours: earth tones, soft creams, deep blue or rust tones for harmony and contrast.
Erismann by Dutch Wall Decor - Art Edition-2

Guido Maria Kretschmer’s new ART EDITION 2 presents 25 digital photo wallpaper designs that elevate interior design to an emotional and artistic level. Each motif tells a personal story, featuring delicate flowers, fine grasses, golden graphic elements, soft colour gradients, stylised animal figures and botanical compositions. Printed on high-quality non-woven material, each mural transforms a wall into a stylish, personal statement.
HookedOnWalls - Bossa Nova

A vibrant wallpaper collection inspired by the Brazilian musical style of the same name. This delightful blend of cheerful samba and more complex jazz emerged in Rio de Janeiro in the late 1950s. The optimistic, laid-back rhythms come to life in striking murals featuring naturally flowing lines.
Design tip
The patterns combine beautifully with one another. The collection consists mainly of natural colours and earthy tones, so it looks its best in interiors featuring soft colours and plenty of natural materials. It also combines beautifully with organic shapes and flowing lines.

Little Greene by Van Sand - In the Garden

Little Greene’s ‘In the Garden’ wallpaper collection comprises eight eclectic designs inspired by inspiring gardens, botanical collections and historic floral motifs, with prints that bring the beauty of nature and classic gardens into the home.
Design tip
- Fabrics: natural linen or cotton in subtle shades to let the botanical wallpaper shine.
- Furniture: light-coloured or wooden furniture for an airy, organic feel.
- Colours: pair with soft green tones or neutral paint to create harmony and a sense of calm in the room.
Masureel International - Erosion

Erosion celebrates the beauty of imperfection, the poetry of weathered materials and the quiet movement of nature. Materials rust, develop a patina and erode, blending decay and renewal. From textured wallpapers that evoke weathered stucco to panoramic designs.
Eko is the innovative flagship product: as strong as vinyl, yet fully sustainable and eco-friendly. Erosion also offers linen and genuine cork.
Design tip
Erosion works equally well in industrial-inspired interiors and in warm, organic spaces. Panoramic designs such as Salina or Corrosion are shown to their best advantage on a single feature wall, combined with the calm, plain Lux fabric or the pure linen of Flax on the adjacent walls. The textures add depth without overwhelming the space. Combine with natural materials: warm wood, brass, pottery or rough stone. The colour palette remains earthy and natural throughout — from deep rust tones to soft blues and greyish neutrals.
Sandberg Wallpaper by Van Sand - Villa Como

The Villa Como wallpaper collection by Sandberg Wallpaper is inspired by the breathtaking landscape around Lake Como in Italy, featuring botanical and graphic patterns in soft, Mediterranean colour schemes that evoke sun-warmed stones, olive groves and serene waters.
Design tip
- Fabrics: light linen, cotton or soft velour for texture without competing with the wallpaper.
- Furniture: wooden furniture in warm or neutral tones to create a calm backdrop.
- Accessories: ceramics, rattan or natural stone to enhance the Mediterranean atmosphere.
- Colours: combine with creams, soft greens and blues from the wallpaper for a cohesive palette.
Wandd - Textile Sisal

WANDD’s sisal material has a distinct, woven texture that creates a natural and luxurious look. The refined sisal appearance brings a sense of calm and warmth, whilst the non-woven backing ensures easy installation. As the material is also PVC-free and fire-retardant, it is ideal for both the residential and contract markets.
Design tip
The Textile Sisal collection is the perfect foundation for a layered and distinctive interior design:
- Endless possibilities: At WANDD, you don’t have to choose between a beautiful design and a beautiful texture. Every design from our entire collection can be printed onto Textile Sisal. This allows you to combine your favourite print with the rich, natural look of sisal.
- Contrast in Materials: Combine the organic weave of sisal with smooth materials such as travertine, brushed brass or dark oak. The contrast between the coarse texture and polished surfaces creates a high-end hotel feel.
- Textiles & Fabrics: Enhance the tactile experience by adding furniture in bouclé or coarse linen. This makes the space visually interesting and comfortable.
Zambaiti by Dutch Wall Decor - Philipp Plein-2

The essence of contemporary luxury.
The second part of the collection reinterprets luxury in a modern way: bold, refined, emotional and uncompromising.
An aesthetic designed for generations who see the home as an extension of their personal style, where fashion and interior design merge to create dynamic spaces with a strong character, in which ‘Made in Italy’ becomes the ultimate expression of a luxurious lifestyle.
